Lagoon

So i'm the biggest slacker ever when it comes to blogging but we just back from our Idaho vacation yesterday and I have tons of cute pictures that I need to share. We were there for about 3 weeks. We had a lot of fun and did a lot of activities with friends and family.
The first weekend we were there Sean and I with our friends Zach and Amber went to Lagoon. Sean and I were feeling daring so we went on the skycoaster which is a ride where you're strapped into a harness and you're brought up about 250 feet in the air then someone has to pull the rip cord and you free fall for about 100 feet and then the rope catches you and you just fly accross the park. here's a few pictures

so for the last 3 weeks I've been telling myself that I need to post a blog and give an update to everyone but I never got around to it so now I'm forcing myself to sit at the computer and give an update, finally.
So things are going pretty well for us. On April 15th Sean was nominated for an award called blue jacket of the month. He had to go in front of a 9 chiefs and officers. He was given a uniform inspection, had to recite the sailors creed and had to answer a question from each member of the board. He was up against 8 other sailors and he won! he can put this achievement on his evals and may be qualified for early promotion. We were pretty excited! In other news, I quit my job. I was working 8 pm to 3 am so I was pretty excited to be able to let it go. Now I am able to do more activities with Kamela and get more stuff done around the house. I'm loving it!
So about a month ago Kamela was standing up on her rocking chair and she lost her balance and hit her eye on our computer chair. It started swelling right away and turned into a nasty black eye that lasted about 2 weeks. It was so sad! Well the week after she hit her eye, Sean's uncle came to visit. We went to the mall and ate at this really cool place called rainforest cafe. We got some adorable pictures but kamela has a black eye in all of them so just try to look past that!

Fun at the park

A couple weeks ago It was very nice and sunny for the first time in a while so Kamela and i decided to go to the park with one of friends and her son. It was the first time Kamela had ever been to a park and she had a blast! the slide was her favorite. The first time she went down, I told her she had to sit on her bum and slide down, so she got up there and sat down but at the last minute turned around and slid on her stomach!It almost gave me a heart attack but she was laughing the whole time!

Easter

We had a very fun Easter Sunday. Instead of doing easter baskets this year we decided to give Kamela a mini easter egg hunt in our living room. We had 5 eggs. 2 filled with candy, 2 filled with teddy grams and 1 filled with fruit snacks. they were in different places around the living room so she woke up Sunday morning and got to find all the eggs. She loved it! The easter bunny left sean and I a little bowl of candy and Bee movie. We went to church and then had a nice ham dinner at our friend's house.

I haven't really written for a while so I thought I'd tell everyone what's going on with the Ganatos family. Chelsi got a new job about 3 weeks ago. I'm working the night shift at taco bell just for a little extra money. I work from 8pm to 3am 4 days a week. I get to bed late but I still get to be home all day with Kamela so that's a blessing. Sean is doing good, he broke his right hand about a week ago and had to get a cast so he's getting used to doing everything with his left hand. He should get the cast off in 2-4 weeks. Scott is back in the military he leaves on March 10 and we're counting down the days! :) Kamela is a joy as usual. She is always smiling and helping and she loves to dance! We finally got our car fixed. We've been having problems with it for 2 months now but we took it to a chevy dealership and the waranty covered most things so it didn't cost that much.

while playing with my digital camera I got some adorable pictures of Kamela that I want to share. She loves pictures as much as I do! whenever I put the camera up she'll get a big smile on her face and say "Cheese" then after it flashes, she runs to look at the picture. She points to it and says "oh cute!" then she'll run in front of me and say cheese and we do it all over again!
