A baby Ganatos on the way

I think everyone knows by now so I figured I might as well make it public, Sean and I are expecting baby number 2 in early/mid September. I recently went to the doctor and got ultrasound pictures. The baby was moving around and I could see the flutter of his/her heartbeat. It made me warm and fuzzy inside! They said the baby was measuring 11 weeks and according to my last period I'm 13 weeks so I'm just sticking with the fact that I'm about 3 months along. Here's our cute little peanut!

Christmas

Me Sean and Kamela just spent Christmas at home this year. It was lots of fun. On Christmas eve we had the traditional wreaths and peanut brittle, read the story of the 3 trees and told Kamela the short version of the Christmas story. On Christmas day we woke up to Santa presents in the living room and then family presents under the tree. We all got some wonderful gifts including new phones from mom and dad Holloway new dishes and a baking pan from Travis and Jenny, chocolate from Sean's grandma, and Kamela got many more presents from me and Sean and Sean's family

Winter fun

This was one of the funnest weekends we've had in a long time. On Friday night was the Christmas party for Sean's command, they had free daycare so it was a nice night out. The theme was 40s so people dressed up and there was a swing band. Sean and I did some dancing! Then Saturday the command put on a kids christmas party. They had tables set up with different arts and crafts, Kamela made a necklace made out of yarn and fruitloops and also a christmas picture frame. Later that night Sean and I made a gingerbread house and had an eggnog toast. Then Sunday we woke up to a snow white yard so of course we had to play in it. Kamela and I made snowballs and a mini snowman. Then we came in and had hot cocco. It was a wonderful 3 days filled with lots of family Christmas fun!

Halloween

I know i'm about a month late but I have halloween pictures now. Kamela wouldn't have anything to do with her costume so we didn't go trick or treating around town but we did go to the trunk or treat for our ward. We carved pumkins and made delicious pumkin seeds

locked out

Kamela and I both woke up at 6:45 this morning. I was grateful for being up so early and was looking forward to getting a head start on cleaning and housework. I made Kamela breakfast and put her in her high chair when I remebered it was garbage day. I went out to the garage letting the door close behind me and I put the cans outside our house then I went to the door to let myself back in and it was locked! I went around the back door and the front door and of course they were both locked. I didn't have my cell phone, or keys, or anything at all! At first I panicked. Kamela was alone by herself in the house but she was strapped in her high chair so she couldn't get into too much trouble. I didn't know what to do! I didn't want to break anything so I just sat down by the back door so I could see Kamela and she could see me. She was just eating her cereal and seemed to be just fine. I had nothing to do but wait. So I did until about 9:15. Sean luckily came home and rescued me!! He took the screen out of the kitchen window and crawled in and unlocked the door for me. I was so grateful but so embarrassed! How do you lock yourself out of your own house!? Next time I'll be sure to unlock every door and take keys just in case when I go out of the house for any reason!!
