Halloween

I know i'm about a month late but I have halloween pictures now. Kamela wouldn't have anything to do with her costume so we didn't go trick or treating around town but we did go to the trunk or treat for our ward. We carved pumkins and made delicious pumkin seeds

locked out

Kamela and I both woke up at 6:45 this morning. I was grateful for being up so early and was looking forward to getting a head start on cleaning and housework. I made Kamela breakfast and put her in her high chair when I remebered it was garbage day. I went out to the garage letting the door close behind me and I put the cans outside our house then I went to the door to let myself back in and it was locked! I went around the back door and the front door and of course they were both locked. I didn't have my cell phone, or keys, or anything at all! At first I panicked. Kamela was alone by herself in the house but she was strapped in her high chair so she couldn't get into too much trouble. I didn't know what to do! I didn't want to break anything so I just sat down by the back door so I could see Kamela and she could see me. She was just eating her cereal and seemed to be just fine. I had nothing to do but wait. So I did until about 9:15. Sean luckily came home and rescued me!! He took the screen out of the kitchen window and crawled in and unlocked the door for me. I was so grateful but so embarrassed! How do you lock yourself out of your own house!? Next time I'll be sure to unlock every door and take keys just in case when I go out of the house for any reason!!

family slide show

So I haven't written for a while. Things have been really great lately. I got a job at Mcdonalds, I hate the fact that it's fast food and I applied at about 6 other places but only one called back so I take what I can get. Sean got another blue jacket of the month award and nominated for blue jacket of the quarter. He's doing so well and I'm so proud of him! He went to a Seahwaks game last week with one of this friends and had an absolute blast. I'm glad he got to experience that.
Kamela is doing wonderfully. She was sick a couple weeks ago and was diagnoised with croup and pnemonia. She was taken to the emergency room twice in one week and wasn't getting any better and her antibiotics weren't working so she was given a blessing from my visting teacher's husbands. It was wonderful to be there and experience that amazing power. She was fully recovered about 3 days later.
Halloween was lots of fun. Kamela had a chicken costume that she got from Sean's grandma but she refused to wear it so we took her to the trunk or treat that our ward put on. It was at my visiting teacher's house. They had a barn decorated like a haunted house and all the cars were parked along their yard. Then we came home a handed out candy and watched the movie frequency. I love halloween because that means that it's only about 1 month till Christmas! Sean and I are really excited this year and we're trying to do everything beforehand so we're not overwhelmed when December comes. We went to the dollar store 2 days ago and got everything we needed for Christmas, Decorations, Chritmas cards, and stocking stuffers. Our Christmas tree is up and our whole house is decorated. It's very comforting and homey. I love it! I took pictures that I would love to post but I lost the usb cord to my camera so I can't download pictures till I find that. Well that's about everything new. We love and miss you all.

Potty training

So for the last 3 days we've been trying to potty train Kamela and she's doing so good! It makes me excited! The first day she would sit on her potty and then when she felt like she had to go she'd stand up and pee on the bathroom floor. we'd clean it up together and then I explained to her that we had to go potty in the toilet not on the floor. Well now she seems to be getting the hang of it, I don't have pull ups or underware yet so she just goes without a diaper throughout the day and I ask her about every 10 minutes if she has to go potty if she does she'll run to the bathroom and sit on her toilet and go. It's Saturday, she's been without a diaper for about 4 hours and only one accident so far. I'm so excited! I know she'll probablly have lots of accidents and it will get frustrating but right now I'm just excited and proud!

Kamela's 2nd Birthday

Our wonderful bundle of joy turned 2 years old on August 9th. It's crazy how fast she's growing up. She's learning new things everyday that just amaze me. Her favorite new thing to say is "I'm hungry" and it's the cutest thing I've ever heard! Well we had a little birthday party for her. She had a Dora the Explorer cake with cookie dough ice cream which she very much enjoyed. She got some fun bath toys, a pink "my little pony",a stroller with a stuffed puppy dog that she loves to push around and a singing dog which is just adorable. here's a few pictures
